Gina Miller
Chief People Officer, ASU Enterprise Partners
Gina Miller joined ASU Enterprise Partners as chief people officer in July 2021 after relocating from Pennsylvania. In this role, Miller leads talent management and acquisition, leadership development, learning and capability building, compensation, organizational effectiveness and human resources operations. She guides partnerships with ASU Enterprise Partners business units to advance corporate culture as well as diversity, inclusion and engagement.
Miller has more than 20 years of experience aligning talent in organizations and integrating a solid employee experience and life cycle with strategic talent management plans for the organization. She is known for developing businesses rooted in trust-based, performance-driven cultures while implementing creative human resources initiatives to support operations and growth.
Prior to joining ASU Enterprise Partners, Miller served as head of human resources at SuccessFuel, a digital media marketing company, and head of people services at Empire Education Group. Throughout her prolific experience, she has been responsible for human resource management functions as well as health, payroll and safety functions. During her tenure, she supported the transition to technology-based platforms for employee/manager self-service and established a respectable and desirable employer brand to attract and retain strong talent. She earned accolades for fostering an ethical and inclusive culture and advancing best practices in diversity and inclusion.
Her commitment to education has been prevalent throughout her career. Miller dedicated almost six years to senior human resources leadership roles at Apollo Education Group (University of Phoenix and Western International University) and Laureate Education. She worked on several business transformation projects for Western International University. She led a cross-functional university team creating a new academic model structure under the University of Phoenix Provost Office, which resulted in improved performance and strategy formation, a streamlined workflow and significant cost savings. Prior to her time with Apollo Education Group, she spent more than 10 years as a human resources leader in the manufacturing space working for Dunlop Sports, Medtronic and PepsiCo supporting domestic and international sites.
Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations and a dual focus master’s degree in human resources management and training and development management from Webster University.
