Nitin Mehta

Nitin Mehta serves as deputy chief financial officer for ASU Enterprise Partners, bringing more than 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, financial planning, business improvement and executive leadership. Mehta joined the organization in 2023 as associate vice president of planning, budgeting and strategy, where he partnered with leaders to strengthen operational excellence and long-term financial sustainability.
In his role as Deputy CFO, Mehta helps guide the organization’s financial strategy and oversees budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling. He serves as a key advisor to the CFO, providing financial analysis and insights that support strategic decisions. Mehta reviews financial performance, leads efforts to strengthen financial systems, and supports cross-functional projects to advance ASUEP’s financial health.
Earlier in his career, Mehta spent over a decade at TUI Group in the UK and Germany in several senior roles, including business improvement director, finance director of group FP&A, group director of analytics and head of group strategy. He led global planning cycles, directed analytics and performance initiatives, and served as a member of multiple boards and committees, including the asset board, group risk oversight committee, hotel board, and the marketing directors board.
Prior to joining ASUEP, Mehta served as an independent consultant advising U.S. and European organizations in the leisure and financial sectors on turnaround planning, acquisitions, financial operations, and strategy.
Mehta serves as a member of the board for Heads On and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, where he also chairs the audit committee. He has previously served as a member of the board and chair of the audit committee at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
Mehta is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA/CGMA) and holds a master’s degree in finance from London Business School, an MBA from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Constructor University in Germany. He is currently completing his third master’s degree, in accounting and data analytics at Arizona State University.
